We at Provider Practice Essentials take your safety and your education very seriously. At this time, the CDC has recommended that we limit travel in an attempt to reduce the spread of COVID-19. It is likely that the current isolation and quarantine recommendations will remain in flux, and that travel will be impacted for many months to come. It is possible that this can become the new normal. As more information is known about the virus, we will clearly modify our policies to do what is right for you and our staff. We will not alter our content or learning process. Somewhere, in the middle of all of this fear, anxiety, disease, and gloom and doom is a patient that needs your skills, your hands, and your knowledge. This is what we teach and is our core philosophy.
THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR LIVE, HANDS-ON, GROUP EDUCATION WITH AN INSTRUCTOR PRESENT TO TEACH YOU THE CORRECT WAY TO MANAGE PATIENTS AND PERFORM PROCEDURES. This is one of our core beliefs, and for this reason we will not modify our program layout or content like some other programs have. We are all practicing healthcare, and we will be managing sick patients. We have all learned to practice on sick patients, and the risk of disease exposure, infection, and management of infection risk is simply part of what we do.
We have been assured by our host venues that extra precautions have been taken to ensure cleanliness and reduce any transmission of the virus. We understand that some of your employers may have adopted policies that may restrict your travel to conferences or large events. Some may have even banned travel altogether. Please review our terms and conditions carefully. These can be found on the registration page, and completing your registration confirms your acceptance of these terms.
If you are planning to attend, we are accepting registrations as we do every day for all dates. Clearly, these conditions can change as well. For those of you who have already registered, we look forward to seeing you at our scheduled event, and we will do the right thing, as needed, to ensure that we, as healthcare providers, remain safe and able to care for those in need. Remember – ALL OF OUR INSTRUCTORS ARE ALSO ACTIVELY PRACTICING ON THE FRONT LINES.
For those of you who have already registered and have been informed about travel restrictions, we are happy to work with you to reschedule you for an alternative date later this year at no extra cost. We will request that you present us with a validation of your travel restriction for verification.
Thank you again for being part of our community, and we look forward to seeing you at our live programs!
